The Sovereign Guard
May Assian Live Forever
The Sovereign Guard can trace
their history back to the first few
rulers of the two-thousand-year Assian Dynasty, but it wasn't until the
reign of Mendasha Assian (1310 to 1380) when the Sovereign Guard became
the militant branch of the Inshallah, combining with the newly formed
Inshallah Intelligence agency and the domestic law enforcement force
al-Aqiba. The Sovereign Guard consists of four primary branches:
Army, Air Force, Navy, and Royal Guard. The Army, Air Force and Navy
forces are
self-explanatory, and the Royal Guard are elite soldiers hand-picked by
the Assian family to serve as personal bodyguards and Palace guards.
The Sayeret is a classified counter-terrorism branch separate from the
rest of the Sovereign Guard, but their rank system is the same as the
Army (along with the uniforms with some exceptions, such as undercover
or black ops).

Uniforms
-- SG Army --
The dress uniform is
dominately light tan in color, with a dark brown stripe along opposing
sides of the outer leggings. The shirt and outer jacket have dark brown
shoulders that start on the collar seam to the top of the sleeve. The
rank patches are only allowed on the top portion of the sleeves, and
this applies to both dress and camo styles. The camo pants and jacket
are inspired by the CMF style of camo pattern, with a blend of light
tan and brown colors, although the shirt is usually light grey or
black. The black beret is standard issue for all enlisted personnel
ranked 01-12, and a more decorated light tan beret for ranks 13 through
17.
-- SG Royal Guard --
Only the dress uniform exists
for the Royal Guard, dominately maroon-colored with a light tan stripe
along the opposing sides of the outer leggings. Because they are
hand-picked by the royal family, they technically have no rank, and
only in certain cases will they have coexisting jurisdictions with the
other forces. They are the only soldiers officially trained to use the
scimitar, and it is standard issue. The dark-red beret is standard
issued head wear.
-- SG Air Force --
The dress uniform is dark
green with a black stripe along the outer leggings. While personnel
with ranks 01-13 have their insignias in the form of patches sewn to
their sleeves, ranks 14-17 have insignia button pins on the collars of
their dress uniforms. All ranks have standard issue camo uniforms, but
the patterns are slightly designed differently from the Army camo, with
dark green and blue blended together. Issued head wear are dark blue
berets for all ranks.
-- SG Navy --
Enlisted personnel are issued
dark blue slacks and jackets with white undershirts, while officers
have the same basic colors but in a more formal dress style. For
enlisted, the standard headgear are dark green cloth caps, and peaked
black hats for officers. The rank insignias are only in the form of
decorative gold or silver pins, attached to the collars. No camo
version exists for naval personnel.
